Louis Walsh Makes a Fool of Himself - Again!
The X Factor 2008 Live Show 6 was not the best of the series by any stretch of the imagination. The overall quality of the performances was not as good as previous weeks and really any one of the contestants could have gone this week. I’ve watched the YouTube X Factor 2008 Videos and there are only really two that are worth watching again.
The first one was from Ruth Lorenzo singing “Angels” – Now everything about me was saying, as the music started, that “I was really not going to like this, she is risking too much and is going to be out.” Angels is an absolute classic and I have never heard anyone sing it like Robbie Williams, but I have to say Ruth’s version was quite good. Yes I know she is gorgeous but that’s not the reason I am picking her out, it was the best rendition of Angels I have heard (after Robbie) and I think that is why the non-British girl kept her place in the Best of British night on the X Factor 2008.

Yes, Louis Walsh does make an absolute ass out of himself again and I am starting to wonder if he gets a bonus each week for doing this, however it does not distract from the song thankfully, well done Ruth!
Now the other video worth watching is not from the finalists and this is probably the reason why they did not seem as good as before. This was an outstanding performance and true justification to all the people that voted Leona Lewis the winner two years ago. You can see why she has become an international superstar and this was the first time she has sang her new song “Run” on TV and she has done the Snow Patrol song justice of the highest degree. Leona is a real star, the track can be brought from iTunes now so I suggest you go and get it once you watch the video (if you need convincing, that is)

As the X Factor 2008 enters the final leg there are more and more blogs talking about it and I really hope that next week the quality picks back up to where it was last week.
